Mom is a small lab mix, only about 20#, who is super sweet and does well with her puppies, other animals and her foster family. Mama is part of their family now and All Creatures have already had her spayed for them. That's when she reached out to us, and we made the trip work! The puppies are now 9 weeks old and doing very well in their foster homes in Jefferson, Oswego and Onondaga counties. A few months and 9 puppies later, the family was getting to be overwhelmed so they reached out to a few local shelters in their area but all were full. It didn't take long to realize, however, that 1 was pregnant. Two females in particular were very friendly and made themselves part of her family. Several dogs had been dumped in her rural area and were living as strays. She saw that we had received dogs from Kentucky in the past and she reached out about her current situation. We received a message from a person in Pikeville KY looking for help. In her defense, she was contacted about a situation in Kentucky that was in dire need of help a few short days ago and she was coincidentally going to be in Ohio this weekend. Whenever one of our founders goes out of town, she always has a way of finding animals in need. Please help us to continue helping those that knock on our doors! An adoption donation of $450 is being adked to cover a portion of their veterinary and transport fees. Pups have had their vet check, 2 distemper/parvo vaccines, they've been dewormed, started on flea/tick and heartworm preventative and are spay/neutered. Preference will be given to homes with previous dog experience.Having time available to care for, socialize and start training of a new pet.Willing to have current dogs/family members come to a meet and greet to meet the pet and be sure an acceptable match.Due to their current size and disposition, we are looking for homes with children over 5 years old.Since they are puppies, they should be ok with both cats and dogs in the home.Having previous/current pets in annually at a local veterinary office and up to date on vaccines as well as spay/neutered.Mom was a stray lab mix ~20# and dad was an Aussie mix boy who ran the neighborhood.ĭue to their current age, size and energy levels, adoption requirements are: More about me: These sweet pups came to us about a month ago from KY where they were living outside with their mom and littermates. I love people! And I've been around lots of dogs, big and small, and I do well with them. My foster Mom is teaching me to sit, stay, no bite and treat. I'm learning to walk on a leash and am learning new skills to be a very good girl. I'm a lovable, snuggly girl who loves to play and loves toys of all kinds. I'm a Lab/Aussie mix and I'm about 14 weeks old.
